Secure NFC cards
Every accepted card is prepared by onbi and assigned to one business. The server verifies its changing proof, location assignment and status before recording an action.
Security at onbi
Security is part of the product architecture—not a setting a busy café owner has to understand before they can start.
Every accepted card is prepared by onbi and assigned to one business. The server verifies its changing proof, location assignment and status before recording an action.
Previously accepted credentials and suspicious repeat attempts are rejected and recorded.
Access is limited by organisation, role and assigned location. Team members cannot browse data for workplaces they do not belong to.
High-risk employment details are encrypted separately and masked in the interface after saving.
Secure sessions, password re-authentication and optional authenticator protection are used for sensitive account changes.
Important administrative, attendance and NFC card actions are written to audit records so changes can be investigated.
Privacy by default
onbi is designed to request location only when it is needed for a clock action. It is not intended to continuously follow an employee outside work.
Please report a suspected security issue privately. Do not place personal data or credentials in the email.
